8-43 knew that the helicopter circling over head was equipped with enough fire power to make her home a crator, and by the maneuvering, she had a feeling it would do just that.
She touched the fence and yanked her hand away at the electric volt, ignoring the strong smells of fire and burning chemicalsamong other thingsaround her, heading down the fence. The corner house was completely empty, and she gained access without any troubles, hopping from the other side before starting to run. She was not sure how much time she had until the explosion, but she knew she needed to be at least at the outskirts of if she were to survive.
It came too quickly. She felt the scalding heat surround her as she was lifted from the ground…air-born, she tried to control her body to some extent, unsuccessfully. She slammed into a tree and sank to the ground. Everything was black.

The sun was shining brightly…too low down. 8-43 stared at the light as she tried to comprehend what had happened…why she was not in her own bed…until she realized that it was not the sunshe was seeing, but her own home…for 23 years of her life, that had been her home.
Though she felt no remorse over the loss, and the loss of all the other GELFs, she was not sure how to proceed. Her training had equipped her with every skill imaginable, but at the moment, none were coming to call. She needed to do something…and whatever that might be, it was not standing in plain sight and staring at a burning mass of stone and twisted metal.
She backed away quickly, realizing that some of the guards may have been left behind to find any such as herself. She felt a slight quiver in her arm and stared at it a moment. Her entire arm was shaking. She stared at this for some time, not understanding why her arm was performing this movement without the rest of her body, then realized that it was the arm that she had extended to break her fall, the arm that had crumpled under her before she went unconsciousand judging by the fires, not even thirty minutes had past.
She processed this information quickly, using her other arm to feel for any breaks or fractures, finding one slight fracture and sighing as she pulled the arm to her body and held it there with her other hand. She could worry about that after she decided where to go. Her mental maps and education on such topics as cities were quickly exhausted with no actual fruit…except…maybe…
New Delphi.
She started in that direction.
